Controller Has No Power
A blank controller screen or completely dead controller is usually a power supply issue — tripped breaker, blown fuse, or a failed transformer.

- Controller screen is blank or dark
- No buttons or inputs respond
- No zones run at scheduled times
Diagnosis
The controller isn't receiving AC power, or its internal transformer has failed.
Step-by-Step Repair

Check the outlet the controller is plugged into — try plugging in a lamp or phone charger to verify the outlet works.

Check your electrical panel for a tripped breaker or blown fuse on the circuit that powers the controller.

If the outlet works, check the controller's internal fuse (usually on the circuit board). Replace if blown.

If the controller is hardwired, use a multimeter to verify 120VAC at the controller terminals.

If power is reaching the controller but the screen is still blank, the transformer or control board has failed. Replace the controller.
